Foundations

Modular training in Performing Arts

Performing Arts International are delighted to present ”Foundations” the first year of a brand new part-time training course in the performing arts, led by Sarah Kane and commencing March 2018. The course will be based at the Peredur Centre, East Grinstead.

"Foundations" offers you the opportunity to start the new year with renewed vigour by taking a fresh and unusual look at the performance arts of speech and drama.

The format is five separate week-long modules combined with regular weekend training, culminating in a performance at the Theatre at the Peredur Centre.  However, the five components of this modular course may also be taken individually as stand-alone workshops.

"Foundations" course participants are eligible to acquire a qualification offered by Trinity College London, and equivalent to the first year of a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA).  After further training they are also eligible to sit exams offered by Trinity College London equivalent to a BA.  Further specialised study may lead to a diploma in Creative Speech validated by the Section for the Performing Arts at the Goetheanum in Switzerland.

Accommodation with self-catering facilities is available at the Peredur Centre, East Grinstead, East Sussex.

Art is born of the union of the physical world and
the spiritual world and their mutual fructification.
For in art the external form is imbued with spirit
and the spiritual content is clothed in external form.
